Podcasts in the Classroom
I think this is really neat. I had a lot of fun being creative. I also think that students would have a fun time working in a group and learning how to do something like this. I think it would be great for languages too because it is all oral. You could have them record orally practicing vocabulary or the lesson that week, or have them do dialogues and record them.

Google Docs continued...
1. The Google spreadsheets and documents that we worked on were great. I loved the one where you could have more than one person working on the same document at the same time, very helpful for group projects in school. And the spread sheet was easy enough to figure out, although I have never found a use for spreadsheets in my own life, or have any ideas for use in the classroom for the students..any ideas?
2. the Google homepage is the other thing I tried out. i think this is really fun. It s like having your own little window to the world. you can supply whether jokes games dates etc. I think this is really useful for the classroom aspect to check everyday to be well rounded in worldly events, not only in the schools own culture.

Wiki in the classroom
I love wiki. It is a great way to search a huge amount of information via web. I think kids these days are so advantaged today with technology, and it is helpful to have programs like wiki available at the click of a fingertip to find just what they are looking for. I use Wikipedia for every single presentation I have in school for a reliable source.

RSS feeds for teachers!
I really like the idea of using these, to know the weather, get a joke of the day, or simply to catch up on world events. I think in the classroom knowing world events could be a great way to lead a discussion everyday. A teacher could easliy use this as an attention getter everymorning before class begins, while teaching them something useful.
Trading Cards
I really did not like this only because I could NOT figure it out. I made one but the picture did not fit to the card ever so I gave up! I think they could be a fun way to meet others or create a badge for blogs and things such as that, but I did not like them. I would encourage my students to use this, but I would need more practice.
Google and Zoho
I used google to make my spreadsheets and though that it was easier to understand. I think that it was easier because we went over googles spreadsheets in class so I had a template to go off of. I also heard others in the class had trouble with zoho, but I think we didn't like it due to unfamiliarity. I think it would be a great tool for students to work on projects simultaneously.
Moodle: a classroom management program
I thought that the moodle website was pretty interesting. I had never heard of other classroom sharing programs besides d2l. I think it is helpful for when I become a teacher I will be able to find things like this to use that are easily understood, helpful, and most importantly FREE!

This band is new to me but amazing if you have never heard them, reminds me of dance music, with more lyrics.

Flickr in the classroom
I can use this application to make my presentations of photos more interesting. I could create a scrolling presentation of photos of different Spanish speaking countries. I also think having my students create on could be helpful to keep in touch, and allow them to share any abroad photos they have or have found interesting.

Social Networking
Social Networking programs are something that would be very useful for outside classroom communication. I think it would be a great way for the students and the teacher to have a common place to post questions and comments at anytime. I would like to use this and make a group especially for my students to keep in touch, it's way funner than e-mail!
